Air traffic control for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Your airspace.
Your call.

Take the controller's seat. RadarWorks puts a working tower position beside your simulator: flight strips, a surface-movement radar and your own voice on the frequency.

The position

A tower desk, not a game menu.

Everything a ground and tower controller looks at, laid out the way a real working position is. Dock it beside the simulator, or float each screen over it.

  1. 01

    Information display

Aerodrome, runways in use and their roles, the positions you are working and the clock.

  2. 02

    Strip bay

Every flight on a strip, grouped by what it is waiting for, with the clearance it needs next.

  3. 03

    Ground radar

The field, its taxi network and every aircraft on it, labelled the way a surface-movement display labels them.

  4. 04

    Tower radar

Arrivals on the approach and departures climbing out, on range rings around the field.

  5. 05

    Selected aircraft

Route, stand, runway and squawk for the flight in hand, and the clearances you can give it.

Features

Built around the person working the traffic.

Strips that work like the real thing

Each flight lives on a strip ruled into callsign, state and runway. Crews waiting on you rise to the top; one press gives the clearance they asked for.

A surface-movement radar

Runways, taxiways, stands and hold bars drawn from the airport the simulator has loaded. Targets carry their callsign and state, and the one you are working is boxed in amber.

Your voice on the frequency

Hold to talk and say the clearance, or click it if you prefer. Speech recognition runs on your own PC, and the pilots read back in voices of their own.

Live or generated traffic

Work a real airline day from a timetable you import or fetch with your own provider key, or let RadarWorks build a full day for your airport.

The whole ground operation

Pushbacks, taxi routes, line-ups and runway exits, with jetways and turnarounds at the airport's own stands.

Learn the desk as you go

A guided tutorial places each aircraft its lesson is about, shows you what to do and waits until you have done it.

How a shift starts

From the ramp to the runway.

  1. 01

    Load a flight

Pick the airport you want to work and load in to Microsoft Flight Simulator. RadarWorks connects and reads the field.

  2. 02

    Set up the shift

Choose live or generated traffic, how busy the day should be and which aircraft models your traffic wears.

  3. 03

    Work the traffic

Pushbacks, taxi, line-ups and landings. Your clearances, your sequence, your airspace.

Compatibility

Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

RadarWorks runs beside MSFS 2020 and 2024 on Windows. X-Plane support is planned and will be announced when it has shipped and been tested.
